We are looking for volunteers to join our team! Whether you’re passionate about the arts, love connecting with the community, or want to gain experience in a creative environment, we have a place for you!

Types of Volunteers

Fundraising

Volunteers work and support a variety of fundraising initiatives throughout the calendar year. Joining the GCAC Fundraising Volunteer Committee is a rewarding way for you to help support the vital role the GCAC plays in our community and help us provide the first-rate programming that we strive for.

Events

Event Volunteers will assist with performing arts, concerts, live events, Gallery events and more! We are looking for Volunteers with evening and weekend availability to complete a minimum of two shifts per month.

Education

Education Volunteers will assist with education programs, in-gallery events, family activities and more! We are looking for volunteers with daytime and weekend availability to complete a minimum of one shift per month. Volunteers 19 years of age or older will be required to submit a Vulnerable Sector Screening.

Docent

A volunteer docent is somebody knowledgeable about the GCAC who can lead visitors on a tour through the gallery and deliver a commentary while fielding questions.

Students

Students can also gain their required 40 hours of community service by supporting The Georgina Centre for Arts and Culture during our regular hours and at our various exhibitions, events, and programs.
