Dates: Sundays, October 4–25, 2026
Time: 10:30 AM–12:30 PM
Length: 4 weeks
Location: Art Gallery of Georgina

Discover the calming and creative art of Pastel Nagomi Painting in this four-week workshop led by instructor Alka Chopra.

Pastel Nagomi Painting is a gentle Japanese-inspired art form that uses soft pastels and simple techniques to create beautiful, soothing artwork. Over four Sunday sessions, participants will explore colour, blending, composition, and pastel techniques while creating their own unique pieces in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, experiment with a new medium, and enjoy the creative process. Whether you’re new to pastel painting or looking to explore a different artistic style, all experience levels are welcome.

One of the unique parts of Pastel Nagomi Painting is working directly with your fingertips to blend and apply the pastels, creating beautifully soft and expressive effects. Please note that participants should be comfortable using their fingers as part of the painting process.
