FREE Introduction to Encaustic Art Ages 55+ - with Sheila Sullivan
The Art Gallery of Georgina is pleased to launch a new series of free creative programs for older adults through support from the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
Join us for a welcoming six-week encaustic art workshop for adults 55+ looking to learn something new, get creative, and connect with others, taught by instructor Sheila Sullivan.
Participants will learn beginner-friendly techniques in a relaxed, supportive environment.
No experience required.
All materials are included.
Please note: This workshop uses heated equipment to melt wax. While the wax is melting, it may produce a mild odour and some fumes. If you are sensitive to scents or airborne fumes, please keep this in mind before registering.
These free seniors' art classes are made possible through funding from the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
To help ensure that spaces are available to those who wish to participate, a refundable $10 registration deposit is required to reserve your spot. The deposit will be returned to you when you attend the class or series.
If the registration deposit presents a barrier to participation, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Art Gallery of Georgina. We are committed to ensuring these programs remain accessible to all seniors.
