Watercolour: Scenic & Nature Inspired Painting - with Linda Pauer | May June

This class is designed to develop confidence, control, and a deeper understanding of watercolour through a structured yet relaxed studio approach.

Each session begins with a step-by-step guided demonstration, where all participants work through the same study. This allows students to clearly observe technique, colour behaviour, and decision-making processes in real time while building essential skills such as washes, layering, colour mixing, and brush control.

Following the demonstration, participants transition to creating a painting from a reference image of their choice. Individual guidance and feedback are provided throughout, helping students apply techniques while strengthening observation, composition, and interpretation skills.

The class places particular emphasis on capturing light, atmosphere, and spatial depth — foundations that are central to scenic and representational painting in watercolour.

Suitable for beginners and experienced painters.

No prior experience required.

Age restrictions: Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult. Both the child and the adult are expected to pay the registration fee.
